Obama Sweeps my Precinct in WA

Sat Feb 09, 2008 at 05:03:38 PM PDT

I just arrived home after attending the WA Caucus in my precinct. We were just one precinct, with enough votes in the last election to get us 5 delegates.  We had 28 people attending (about 3 times the attendance in 2004, as I remember) and we went 22 for Obama, 6 for Clinton. Those were the initial votes, but after some discussion, with actually only one person speaking out for Clinton, no one changed their votes.  So we have 4 delegates for Obama, 1 for Clinton.  These delegates (I am one of them) will go to the Legislative District Convention April 5, and there elect delegates to the State Convention, and eventually the Delegates will trickle up to the National Level.

My daughter had a slightly different experience in her precinct.

Joe Allbaugh follows the money

Wed Sep 07, 2005 at 12:15:09 AM PDT

I popped in to TPM on my way to bed and discovered that Josh has found out that Joe Allbaugh has returned to NO and is sniffing after the reconstruction money.
That is what's obvious.
Can the collective research powers of the KOS community research Allbaugh and find out what illegal things he's doing?
I personally don't have time, but I'll bet enough time is available from the group to get something going.

What's wrong with the media!

NewsChannel 5 Network: "Tennessee Man Discovers What May Be The Deepest Cave In The Country

A new federal parks study will map caves around the Lookout Mountain Battlefield.

That pleases caver Kent Ballew because he thinks he's found the deepest pit cave in the country, perhaps 800 feet deep.
    . . .
The deepest known pit cave is in Alaska, a hole 598 feet deep.

The F**king lying liars have gone too far . . .

Mon Sep 06, 2004 at 08:47:14 PM PDT

is the title of this unverified story
on Norwegianity blog today.

The Pentagon has ordered an investigation into the awarding of Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry's five Vietnam War decorations.

The highly unusual inquiry is to be carried out by the Inspector-General's Office of the US Navy. Senator Kerry served as a Swift boat captain for four months in 1968, serving two tours of duty in Vietnam.

It's based on a
 press release
from Judicial Watch, and their Web Site lists a number of references in the right wing press, and this one from the
Chicago Sun Times
.

It doesn't seem to have been covered in the Demo/liberal blogs.
